Things You Ought To Know in Faultless Car Accidents
Anyone who has been involved in a vehicular accident, regardless
of fault, can avail of No-Fault Benefits which would include
compensation for wage lost, medical expenses and a replacement

Vioxx Withdrawal and Drug Litigation
On Sept. 30, 2004 Merck announced a worldwide withdrawal of
Vioxx® (rofecoxib). Vioxx had previously been prescribed in the
treatment of arthritis and pain. Worldwide sales of Vioxx in
2003 were an estimated $2.5Billion and the drug was marketed in

recent pharmaceutical products to have been put in the spotlight

I think you will agree with me that Hitler and his Nazi party

What's New With Your Living Trust?
Some time ago, Congress made certain changes to the estate
taxes. As a result of the changes, effective January, 2004, the
tax free amount increased to $1,500,000. (Back in 1997 it was
$600,000.) This allows a married couple to leave a minimum of
$3,000,000 tax free.
Your Living
Trust does not need to be changed to incorporate these
changes.
However, there are other developments which might be appropriate
to consider.
1) You might want to consider a Dynasty Living Trust. The

numerous answers.
Some people believe law is good and lawlessness is evil.
Therefore actions which reside in the bounds of the law must be

Some people believe God is good and the Devil is evil. Therefore
actions which abide by the teachings of God are good and those

The Right Focus on Tort Reform
The recent headlines about Merck's Vioxx withdrawal and the

to the growing area of drug litigation. On April 12, 2004 the
FDA published a rule banning health supplements that contain
ephedra alkaloids. The FDA concluded that the limited short term
weight loss effects were outweighed by possible heart problems
and stroke risks. The market gap caused by the banning of

The Polygraph As A Truth Detector
The polygraph as a truth detector

Summary
The B.C. Civil Liberties Association believes that there is
convincing evidence to suggest that the use of the polygraph is
arbitrary, subjective, biased toward accusations of guilt and
claims of very high validity are scientifically indefensible.
However, even if one is not willing to be persuaded by evidence
on these matters, one must admit, at the very least, that there
is no scientific opinion whatsoever concerning the validity of

Tractor Trailer Underride Accidents.
What is a Tractor Trailer Underride Accident?
Tractor-Trailer underride accidents occur when a passenger
vehicle, usually the front of the passenger vehicle, enters
below the base of the trailer of a large truck (e.g.,
18-wheeler). This is particularly possible with small family
passenger cars (as opposed to a mini-van or SUV). Unfortunately,
the height of the front of the car is insufficient to contact
the bed of the truck, often 10 to 20 inches below the bed of the
truck. This puts the bed of ...

Why Use An Aircraft Purchase Agreement?
It always surprises me when a potential aircraft buyer is unsure

no doubt used a purchase agreement in such transactions. Yet,
many of these same individuals would spend the same amount of

If you provide storage, repair, maintenance or other services to

There are three key reasons for this fact. First, email is a

Overview of Trademark Law
Trademark law gives companies the exclusive right to use a given
name or design, called a 'mark,' for the purpose of identifying

law is an incentive-based system. Because it gives companies the
exclusive right to use a mark in connection with certain goods
or services, the company can create a brand that is recognizable
by the consuming public. That trademark would be associated with
and incorporated into every advertisement the ...

While there are many useful purposes for a power of attorney,

Criminal law involves prosecution by the government of a person

A New Lawsuit Filed Every 3 Seconds! Protect Yourself
It's true. According to a recent survey, one out of every 2
Americans will need a lawyer's advice in the next twelve months.
Most of these people will try to handle it on their own, because
they think they can't afford a lawyer. But, if you needed an
operation, would you do it yourself because you couldn't afford
a surgeon? Of course not. You're not qualified, and you know it.
That's why people are so desperate to find affordable health

Site and Email Disclaimers - A necessary evil
This being the age of increasing litigation, it is advisable
for web site owners to have disclaimers posted on their Internet
sites, and to have them accessible from any other part of the
site. It is unfortunate that we need to do this, but such is the

The Beginning of the End of the Internet?
A steady stream of Patents have been coming from the U.S. Patent
Office over the last few years, which have left folks in the

Insure Your Whole Business
A business requires so many types of insurance, you may think
"just one more" means "one too many." There's Worker's
Compensation and other liability insurances -- required by law.
There's health, major medical, dental, vision -- vital parts of
an adequate benefit plan. There's even "key personnel" insurance
that pays if certain members of the team are unable to work due
to illness or injury.
And, now, there's a new twist called prepaid legal plans --
"courtroom insurance" you could call it. If ...
